I helped an African family
A 26 yo girl from Angola Africa approached me for financial assistance.

She explained in detail the circumstances of her family. She is now unemployed and had to find work to support her three younger siblings and a mother who recently had a medical problem and could not work.

She needed money to pay for a one month course on cake making. On completion she would be able to find a job to support the family.

I was wary that this could be a scam, so I asked for details about the cake making course and photos of her family members.

Her first language is Portuguese. He used Google to translate her messages in English. I could see that it was quite an effort.

I agreed to help her financially, but had problem in transferring the money to her. I tried various payment platforms and finally managed to transfer the money using MoneyGram.

I told her that MoneyGram warned me not to send money to a stranger, but I made the transfer anyway. I also had to go through a lot of trouble just to make the transfer.

The money is a small amount to me, but could mean a lot to her and her family.

She replied to me: I promise myself and myself not to disappoint you, I promise to use this money with a lot of intelligence and wisdom, I don't have a way to thank you, only God will pay you for everything you've done for me.

I wished her all the best.
