Covid-19 crisis Death rate according to vaccination status

In the social media, there are many complaints that the Ministry of Health has stopped providing information of deaths separated between vaccinated and unvaccinated people. The posters said that MOH wanted to hide the facts.

This is not the case.

84% of the population is already vaccinated. This is a high proportion.

If the actual deaths are divided equally between the vaccinated and unvaccinated groups, the death rate among the unvaccinated is 84/16 = 5.2 times higher than the vaccinated group.

Many people are not aware the correct approach to interpret the data. They do not take into account the actual exposure when they looked at the data on the deaths.

When this proportion reaches 100%, all the deaths will be from the vaccinated group.

I suspect that MOH decides not to provide the breakdown due to misinterpretation of the data.
