Covid-19 crisis China vaccines
A large number of people prefer to be vaccinated with the China vaccines, i.e. Sinovac or Sinopharm, because it uses the inactivated virus.

They wish to avoid the artificially engineered mRNA from Pfizer and Moderna, because they are not sure of the long term effect.

Some health experts said that the efficacy rate of the China vaccines is lower than mRNA.

The lower efficacy rate mean that there is a higher chance for the vaccinated people to catch the virus.

However, the proponents of the China vaccines said that the vaccinated person may catch the infection but the virus is likely to be mild and will not spread.

There was a report about the experience of health care workers in Indonesia that were vaccinated with the China vaccines. Although a few were subsequently infected by the virus, all of them recovered. There was no casualty.

The lower efficacy rate of the China vaccine does not appear to be any cause of concern.
