Vaccine Injury Financial Assistance Scheme
According to the government website, the Vaccine Injury Financial Assistance Programme for COVID-19 Vaccination (VIFAP) provides one-time goodwill financial assistance to persons who experience serious side effects that are assessed to be related to COVID-19 vaccines administered in Singapore.
Here are two cases of deaths of people that followed shortly after they have been vaccinated.

The independent panel of experts appointed by the government had determined that the deaths were not related to the vaccines.
I am troubled by the findings of the panel.
How can they be so sure that the deaths are not related to the vaccines?
I accept that the vaccines are safe and that over 99.9% of people who have been vaccinated do not suffer any serious side effect.
But, we should expect a very small proportion of people who may suffer serious side effect which, in some cases, could cause death.
These are likely to be people who are elderly or have existing medical conditions. The supervising doctor must have determined that they are able to take the vaccine.
Because nobody can be absolutely sure that it is totally safe, the financial assistance scheme was created to give assurance to the people that they will be adequately compensated, in case something went wrong.
It will be difficult for the attending doctor or the independent panel to state with certainty that the vaccine did not contribute to the death of these two people. Surely, there must be an element of doubt?
By the same token, it would also be difficult for any doctor to state for certain that the vaccine caused the death.
Due to the uncertainty and to the small number of cases (where death or serious side effects occur within a few days of the vaccination), it is better for the government to give the benefit of the doubt to the family of the deceased, and to pay the financial assistance scheme that was promised.

The injuries are more than you can imagine. So many around me experienced issues. Many had heart issues and there's a growing number of aggressive cancers... I know of some who did not survive very long. These are 2 of the many injuries. I know of deaths too... friends' relative, friends' friend, relatives' relative, relatives' friend. Too many.

For me, it was THE DISAPPOINTMENT with the handling of the experimental vaccine injured in Apr 2021 that led me on a trail to uncover lies I had believed in, in our Govt. I had always supported them and trusted them, till I discovered how S’poreans, by listening to them, got themselves into deep trouble and were told the injuries were not due to the experimental vaccine, and nothing could be claimed.
