Is China supporting the Myanmar Generals?
My Myanmar friend told me that the ordinary people blame China for supporting the Myanmar generals. I sent him this message.

1. Differences Frame the World
I sent you a video from this channel about Myanmar. You said that it appears to be a propaganda of China.
I have been following this channel for several weeks. The producer is actually living in Canada (but she has a Chinese name).
It is possible that she gets funding from the China government. But it is also possible that she is acting independently to build up a channel where she can get revenue from advertisements and donations.
Many YouTubers adopt this approach.
2. Moconomy
I also watched several videos from this channel about China's Belt and Road to many countries, including Myanmaar.
Their channel covers many topics and is not focused on China.

It is possible that this channel gets funding from China for their Belt & Road videos, so they have to give a positive slant to China. But it is also possible that they do not get the funding.
3. China and the Myanmar Generals
I get the impression that it is in China's interest for Myanmar to be peaceful and to develop their economy and improve the people's livelihoods.
China has invested a lot of money in Myanmar, so the investment would be jeopardized if there is unrest in the country.
I do not know why the ordinary people of Myanmar thinks that China is supporting the generals.
