Out of the box When will Taiwan reunify with China?
Most people think that China will one day use military force to invade Taiwan and take it back into the motherland. 

I have a different view. I believe that Taiwan will reunify with China within ten years, and it will be done peacefully.

This is how I expect the reunification to happen:

a) The United States will become weaker economically and will not have any interest in defending Taiwan or in providing economic assistance to Taiwan.

b) Taiwan will find it difficult to cope economically or to create jobs for its young people.

c) The younger people will realize that their future lies in reunification with China. This will provide them with many business and job opportunities.

d) When America takes less interest in Taiwan due to its economic weakness, Taiwan will realize that their future lies in reunification with China.

e) The people in Taiwan will realize that democracy has failed, not only in Taiwan but in other countries, more so with America.

f) The economic, social and scientific progress in China will be appealing to the people of Taiwan.

My prediction is that Taiwan will reunify with China before 2032 and in a peaceful manner.
