Movement for change Inefficient to handle cheques

I have to discuss an urgent matter with 3 people and proposed a time.

One of them cannot join, because he has an appointment at the bank for his company's business.

So, we have to rescheduled the meeting.

Why is it necessary for this person to be at the bank? I suspect that it is to bank in the cheques that his company has received.

This is the kind of inefficiency that is prevalent in Singapore. We cannot to do manual work that could be avoided.

I see a bleak future for Singapore.
