I suggest the following steps to improve the clearance at the checkpoints:

a) Have separate road access for buses, so that they are not affected by heavy traffic flow from cars. Is it possible to locate the clearance at a separate place, e.g. to use the existing building?

b) Discuss with the Malaysian side to locate the checkpoints for both countries in the same building, so that bus travelers do not need to leave the bus on two occasions to clear the separate checkpoints. Currently, the train checkpoint have both clearance completed in one building (i.e. the building of departure). It works well.

While the authorities plan to have cars and motor cycles move smoothly, they should not overlook the bus travelers.
