Visit JB for food and shopping
1. Take the NS line to Woodlands MRT and take 950 (at the temporary bus interchange) to Woodlands checkpoint.
2. Pass through Woodlands checkpoint. Clearance at the automated gate is fast. There is no queue most times.
3. Take any bus (160/170/950) to JB Checkpoint.
4. Clear the JB checkpoint using the e-gate. The clearance is fast. Most time, there is no queue.
5. You can shop at City Square or Komtar or nearby shops.
6. You can take T100 from JB Sentral interchange to KSL. This is popular with Singaporeans.
7. Take T33 to travel to Bukit Indah Aeon mall. You can take other services to other malls. (Check online or ask the people at JB Sentral).
8. Buy a Manja card for your travel in JB buses. It works like our Ez Link.

You only pay one fare ($0.99 for senior citizens) all the way to JB checkpoint. The travel time from checkpoint to checkpoint is 15 minutes during off peak period. (This used to take half to one hour in the past).

Travel to JB is easy and fast. Johor is safe. I have traveled to different parts of Johor Bahru for two years by car and public transport and never encountered any crime or problem.
