There are 10 expressways in Singapore.

I suggest that the 350 trunk bus services be replaced by 10 expressway services. The expressway services will travel on the expressways and make a stop at each major town along the expressway.

For example, service 858 travel mostly on the Tampines Expressway and terminates at Changi Airport. The travel time on the expressway is fast.

With the expressway services, a passenger can travel from one town to another and take the local bus to reach the final destination. The travel time can reduce considerably, as it would avoid the intermediate bus stops.
