Tan Kin Lian - Perspectives Simply Go - fare and card balance
This is the fare information shown in the SimplyGo app. It is easy for me to use the app to check the fare charged for each segment, the total fare for the trip, and balance in the card.

I only need to check the fare when I have doubts, which is rather rare.

If my concession card does not show the fare and balance at the exit gantry, it will not cause any problem to me. I will run the app every week to check that I have been correctly charged for all the trips during the week and if I need to top up the balance.

Although my concession card is not scheduled to be "upgraded" on 1 June 2024, it will be upgraded later. When that happens, it will not cause any problem to me.

Currently, two thirds of the commuters are already on the Simply Go system. They are used to the system of using the app to check their fares and balances.

I am sure that the remaining commuters, including the concession card holders, will get used to the new system after a while.
