I extract these data to work out how to plan a new public transport system using feeder services to bring commuters to MRT stations and bus interchanges:

a) There are 140 MRT stations
b) There are 26 bus interchanges and 19 bus terminals - total of 45
c) There are 24 HDB new towns.
d) There are 6 MRT lines

If we provide 2 feeder services to serve each MRT station, we need 280 services.

If we provide 6 feeder services to serve each town, we need 144 feeder services.

If we provide a backup bus service to link the MRT lines, in case of a breakdown, we need 12 backup services, i.e. 2 service per line running 2 different directions.
