Tan Kin Lian - Investment Journey Trouble for the US economy
The US economy will face the following difficulties:

1.  Many banks in the US are facing large losses on their holdings in US treasury bonds. Some of these banks may fail, causing a financial crisis. 

2.  The US government may have to shut down in November due to the failure to pass the spending  bill.

3.  The moratorium on the $1.77 trillion of student debt has expired. The borrowers have to start their monthly repayment now. This is likely to cause a drop in consumer spending, leading to a recession. 

4. The high interest rate is expected to move the economy into a recession.

5. Many businesses are expected to report lower earnings, due to the difficult economic situation.

I decided to reduce my holdings in US stocks, including Tesla.
