Tan Kin Lian - Investment Journey Portfolio on 7 Sep 2023
I started my stock portfolio three years ago with an investment of $1 million. I added to the portfolio over the years. At present, the total amount invested was $4,040,000. 

I tracked my portfolio gain every day. Most of the stocks are invested with Philips Securities (on their POEMS 2.0 platform). About $250,000 was invested in short term trading with Tiger Securities. 

In early August 2023, the portfolio gain was $750,000. It dropped drastically in August due to weak economic data from China and America. At the lowest point, the gain was $100,000.

I was too busy with the presidential election campaign, so I could not monitor the individual stocks. I could only monitor the total portfolio.

On 7 September, the portfolio gain had recovered to $500,000. It is a relief. The sentiment in the China market recovered. The sentiment towards Tesla also improved during the last few days.
