Singapore Collapse of the road leading to Forest City
When the videos showing that a road leading to Forest City had collapsed, many people were forwarding the videos with negative comment about the quality of Country Garden construction and contractors from China generally.

They did not check their facts, but were ready to take the opportunity smear Country Garden and the construction industry in China.

Someone told me later that the road that had collapsed was built by the Johor government and not by Country Garden.

If this is true, then the smearing of Country Garden and China construction industry was unjustified.

I hope that these people do not now direct their smear towards the Johor government. If the quality of Johor construction is poor, we would have seen many roads within the state collapsed within the state as well. They did not.

Several years ago, Adam Road in Singapore was severely damaged due to a sinkhole. There were also a few incidents in recent years of structures that had collapsed during construction in Singapore. Singapore also has its own share of these incidents.

We should avoid the tendency to smear other people or countries, especially when the facts are not available.

The engineers and construction personnel from Country Garden put up the 1 km temporary road for the Johor government in 2 days! Amazing.

I was quite impressed with the quality of the engineering work and construction work of Country Garden when I bought an apartment in Forest City. They know their business and had high standards of construction expertise.
