Living in Forest City
I have stayed in my Forest City apartment for several days over three weekends. I now share my experience.

I enjoyed my stay in Forest City. It is largely unoccupied, and has been described as a "ghost city". I did not meet any ghost, but I did meet a few people who were staying there. Most of them were owners from China.

Forest City provides a bus shuttle, twice a day, 3 days a week, to the malls in Sunway and Bukit Indah. This shuttle trip is popular and is mostly full. I expect that they will expand the service soon, perhaps to a daily trip.

I could travel within Forest City with a buggy. They provide the service free. Most times, I prefer to walk. It is a pleasant walk and good for exercise.

A few eateries are open in Forest City, mostly for lunch or dinner. More are preparing to open, as life is now returning to the "ghost city".

I am able to get most things that I need from the nearby convenience store. It stocks up food and household items.

I am able to prepare my own food, if I decide to eat at home. I also do the washing and cleaning. They are good for exercise.

I have a good data plan from Celcom. It allows me to access the internet on my phone. I will bring a PC to my apartment and my office on a future trip. I can use my phone hotspot to provide the data to the PC.

I enjoy this simple life and plan to stay in Forest City more often. I am now familiar with most parts of the city.

I am waiting for my bicycle, which I bought online through Lazada, to be delivered. It has been long delayed.

I have now found an easy way to get to Forest City by public transport. I will travel through the 2nd link on a weekday afternoon. On my recent trip, it took less than 10 mins to clear two checkpoints and the bridge.

Most people may not like the lifestyle that I have described. They have their own preferences. I leave them to their choice and do not wish to comment on other peoples' choices. I remember the meaning words of the song "to each his own".
