Use PayPal to make online payment
I subscribed to some online service and have to make payment by topping up the account or against each monthly invoice.

I used my credit card for the payment. From time to time, I get an email to notify me that the credit card is approaching expiry and I have to update the credit card details.

As I do not log into the website regularly, I often faced problems in remembering the user name and password.

To make matters worse, these websites send out an OTP by SMS before they allow login. Occasionally, the OTP did not arrive. This can be a big hassle, which took a lot of my time.

Recently, I found a better way. I used my PayPal account to make the payment. The service gets the payment from my PayPal account and I get a notification.

The advantage of this approach is that I only need to keep the credit card details updated in one website, i.e. the PayPal website. This website is well designed and easy to use. (Some of the websites for other services are unnecessarily troublesome.
