Singapore Exchange Improve the user experience for POEMS
1.  I have trading actively with Phillips Securities for several years on their POEMS 2.0 platform. I found the platform to be satisfactory.

2. Recently, I have to open a new account under Phillips Securities to enjoy lower commission. In making this change, I experienced the following problems:

a) It takes one day for funds deposited into the account to be available.

b) I have to subscribe for live feed for stocks in Hong Kong and America. The application takes 1 to 2 days to be processed. It was troublesome to make the application. I have to pay a fee for the HK live feed.

c) Orders take a few days to be processed and reflected in the account. 

3. I opened an account with Tiger Brokers. I was surprised to learn that their platform is significantly better than POEMS in the following ways:

a) Deposits of funds are reflected immediately in the trading account. 

b) All stocks show live prices immediately. 

c) Orders are reflected immediately in the account.

The user interface is significantly better than POEMS. The portfolio details are clearly arranged and accessible on the same page. I can move to other pages for other information easily.

Their customer service using their Feedback and Live Chat is excellent. I can chat with a person immediately and get immediate and clear answers.

4. Although the commissions charged on both platforms are similar, I will be using Tiger Brokers more actively in the future.

5. Tiger Broker is registered with the Monetary Authority of Singapore. They should provide the same level of security as POEMS.
