Covid-19 crisis More heart deaths in a covid year
6,990 people die from cardiovascular disease (i.e. heart attack and other conditions) in 2020.
930 people die from covid in 2020 and 2021.

While we worry excessively about covid deaths, we must not forget that there are other ways to die.

Many people (including me) did not realize another trend.
The death from heart disease jumped from 6,200 in 2018/2019 to 6,990 in 2020. This is a jump of 10%.
10% more people die from heart disease in a covid year.

While the health officials focused on covid, they may be neglecting the other diseases.
