Breakdown in DBS banking system
Someone said.
DBS / POSB outage not one but two days in a row, surely cannot be just plain vanilla "technical / software issues".

From time to time outage is inevitable but the prolonged period raises suspicion, suspicion that there is more than meets the eye on this issue.

To reflect that DBS was recognized for its global leadership, DBS has been named “World’s Best Bank” by Euromoney, “Global Bank of the Year” by The Banker and “Best Bank in the World” by Global Finance. The bank is at the forefront of leveraging digital technology to shape the future of banking, having been named “World’s Best Digital Bank” by Euromoney and the world’s “Most Innovative in Digital Banking” by The Banker.

In addition, DBS has been accorded the “Safest Bank in Asia” award by Global Finance for 13 consecutive years from 2009 to 2021. Is this a sign of complacency or incompetence within the bank? Or just plain hard-luck.

I am a customer of DBS bank. I used many of their online and mobile applications.

Here are my views:
1) Their applications are too complicated
2) They try to put in too many functions
3) They make life difficult and confusing for customers
4) A complicated system is likely to break down often.
