Covid-19 crisis Country comparison of covid deaths - 13 Oct 2021
The deaths for the past 7 days per million of population for Singapore has increased to 10. 

This is a high number. 

Among the neighboring countries, it is the third highest after Malaysia (19) and Philippines (11). 

The death rate for Singapore is slightly higher than Thailand (8) and Vietnam (8).

It is considerably higher than Myanmar, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, India, S Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong.

Considering the high vaccination rate in Singapore, the good medical facilities and the layers of restrictions that are imposed on the public, the high death rate for Singapore is puzzling.
