Covid-19 crisis

Why I listen to medical advice
A 65 yo doctor died from covid.  Report

I send my condolence to his family. I also applaud his generosity towards the poor patients who approached him for treatment. There are many doctors, like him, who have a heart for the poor people.

I observed a few points from this news report.

a) The doctor was only partially vaccinated with a non-mNRA vaccine.

b) The ministry of health stated that he was not likely to have contracted the virus from a patient.

I do not know the reason for his to avoid the mNRA vaccine that was launched earlier. It could be a medical reason or his personal belief that the vaccine was harmful.

At an early stage, the front line workers, such as nurses and doctors, were given the priority to be vaccinated with the mNRA vaccine.

Would he have been protected if he had taken the mNRA vaccine earlier? We do not know. It is difficult to form a general conclusion from a specific incident.

We have also heard about the side effects experienced by some people from the mNRA vaccine.

I believe that the cases of adverse effects from a small proportion of the people who have been vaccinated. We should also not be alarmed about this risk.

I now comment on the statement by the ministry of health concerning the possible source of infection.

I think that the ministry does not need to make that statement. It does not really matter how the infection arose. It is already quite endemic, looking at the large number of cases reported daily.

It is quite likely to be passed from a patent who saw the doctor. There is no point in attempting to suggest otherwise.

Recently, a friend asked me to sign a petition to allow people the freedom to choose whether or not to be vaccinated, and to be free from restrictions imposed on unvaccinated people.

I decline to sign the petition.

I told my friend - ordinary people who listen to the advise of the medical experts. They should not try to make their own personal judgment on this issue. They do not have the knowledge to take this decision.

I am not saying that everybody should be forced to be vaccinated against their will. If their personal doctor stated that the patient have medical reason to avoid vaccination, they should be exempted. This decision should be made by a qualified doctor.

I personally do not agree with all of the decisions made by the government or their panel of medical experts.

However, in most areas, I would defer to their expertise and their decisions, which I believe are made with good intentions.

A relative of a friend got a stroke after Sinovac. We both agreed that when your time is up means it's up, there's no escape. Vax is just a route for the exit. One can also die in the sleep. Follow your intuition and it will lead you to wherever you should go to. I personally don't like to analyse with stats or facts. Life and Death can be irrational. We like to get to the bottom of the truth to things as a post mortem. I prefer to just accept it and move on. Life is but a play. Just be kind and enjoy the r

I hope that more people will get vaccinated, as the risk of harmful side effect is small, and the protection from the vaccine ou
