Dell Technical Support - good experience
I want to share my good experience in dealing with Dell Technical Support, which is based in Penang. 

There was a problem with my Dell PC. I was able to find the website for Dell Technical Support easily and to sign in with my password. It display the Express Service Number of my PC which is needed for Dell to provide the support. (How convenient for me and how considerate of Dell!)

The online chat was not available on Sunday. So, I had to call the hotline.

I had a little trouble in navigating through their filtering system, but it was only a fraction of the trouble that I faced with Starhub or DBS call centers. 

I managed to reach the technical staff within a minute. (This is fast, compared to the tiresome wait for many Singapore call centers).

The Dell technical staff was able to have remote access to my PC and to carry out the scanning and locate the problem. The staff explained the steps being taken, so that I become more aware of the technical details. It was a good approach.

The problem was solved. I only needed to update my drivers. The process did take 40 minutes, but it was solved my problem and was educational for me as well.

My experience with call centers from Starhub and DBS is usually described as "terrible". I wonder why our Singapore organizations provide bad customer experience and do not improve them over the years.
