Transport Operators Is it EZ Link or Transit Link?
I kept getting confused between EZ Link and Transit Link. One was the original name and the other is the new name of the organization. I forgot which is the current name. 

I keep getting reference to both EZ Link and Transit Link in the internet and also in MRT stations and bus interchanges. 

Why was there a need to change the name?

If they kept to the old name, a lot of confusion would have been avoided. The company would not have to spend a lot of money in rebranding and still cause a lot of confusion to the public.

I hope that the people in charge learn from this lesson and avoid wasting money and causing confusion and long term damage.

Public companies have change of shareholders on many occasions, but generally to keep to the same name. They realized the heavy cost of a change of name and avoid it, unless it was really necessary.

In the case of EZ Link and Transit Link, the change in brand was not necessary.
