Unable to apply GIRO Link for a concession transit card
I went to the general ticketing machine GTM at You Chu Kang MRT station to apply Giro-Ljnk for my transit card.

I followed the steps and waited for a minute or longer for processing. I received a message that the link failed.

I asked a station staff for help. She guided me thought the same process.
It did not work.

She asked me to go to the Passenger Service Counter for help.
The counter staff asked me several irrelevant questions. I answered them.
She could not solve the problem.

She came out of the office and brought me to the GTM machine. We went through the same process again. It did not work.

She claimed that my bank card is a credit card and not an ATM card. I told her that it is an ATM card because I had used it often to top up the transit card manually.

She asked me to try to apply using the Transit Link app.

This is the same app that gave me a lot of trouble in applying for replacement card. 

I tried the TL app. There was no function to apply for Giro-link. The passenger service staff gave wrong information to me!

I received 4 emails from my bank that the Giro link was approved. (note, I tried 4 times). My ATM card was okay. The failure was at Ez link end. This is insane!
