A better system to elect leaders
The US complain about Russia attempting to interfere in the US elections? Can their CIA stop interfering in other country's elections also?
CNN News Alert:
US intel says Russia attempted to interfere in 2020 election
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence released its declassified report on foreign threats to 2020 US elections Tuesday, which concludes that foreign adversaries -- including Russia -- did attempt to interfere.
Russia's efforts were aimed at "denigrating President Biden's candidacy and the Democratic Party, supporting former President Trump, undermining public confidence in the electoral process, and exacerbating sociopolitical divisions in the US," it says.
In my opinion, the democratic process in most western democracies is flawed and is subject to manipulation.
If they adopt the system of the Communist Party of China, they will get their leaders elected democratically, without interference from outside countries.
How is the system of CCP different and how can the system elect good leaders?
Here are the important differences.
a) The election is carried out by the members of the Communist Party. These members form over 6% of the population and are screened to be loyal to the country and familiar with the needs of the people.
b) The Party members elect leaders at the local level (e.g. villages) through a democratic process. They know the people that they are electing.
b) The local leaders elect leaders at the county level. The county leaders elect leaders at the province level. The province leaders elect leaders at the national level.
c) At each level, the election is carried out by the leaders at the lower level. The electors are familiar with the people that they are voting. They are more likely to elect honest and competent leaders to the next level.
d) Under this system, it is difficult for any outside party to interfere in the election.
