Difficult to communicate with the govt agency
I received an email from Workforce Agency (WSG). I was confused about the message. They asked me to call 6883 5885 for clarification.

I did. Nobody answered the call for a long time (maybe half an hour). They asked me to send my question to them through their website.

I went to their website. It was quite troublesome to send the question, but I did.

I did not get any reply for several days. Later I got this email from WSG.

Quote:

Dear Mr Tan,
Thank you for contacting Workforce Singapore.
We have tried to contact you over the past two days on your mobile 8168 5845 and we were unable to reach you:

We would appreciate it if you could contact us on our WSG hotline on 6883 5885.

After a few days, I am back where I started. I have to call that number again.

They sent an email to me. I wanted to reply to that email, but it was sent through a "Do Not Reply" account.

WSG, like many of LHL's other agencies, have been incosiderate. They called me with their landline.

I do not answer any call from a landline, because I have been getting all kind of unwanted and inconsiderate call from people that I do not know. Often, the call came to my mobile phone when I am not outside the home or office.

This is how the LHL's government agencies communicate with the public. This matter has been outstanding for several days, and we are still not able to communicate.
