Political systems
Why I preferred the communist party system of China
Most people criticized the system in China where the Communist Party is entrenched in the country's constitution. They prefer the multi party systems practiced in democratic countries.
I prefer the system in China. It prefer a one party system. Under this system, the competition is within the party. The leadership of the party has to be elected among its members.
The communist party in China has 80 million members. They elect the leaders in the villages, counties, provinces and the country. The leaders have to rise through the ranks.
Is it better for the country to be elected by 1.4 billion people or 80 million people? I prefer the election to be determined by the 80 million people who are committed to the national ideology of the country. That ideology can be socialist, communist or capitalist.
It is dangerous for the fate of the country to be decided by 100% of the people, because most of them are ignorant and the wealthy can buy their votes with money. This is how the democracy of most countries have evolved into.
If it is a smaller group of the population, say 7% in the case of China, it is likely to produce a better quality of leadership.
This is why China has produced a top quality leadership that has delivered good results for the people.
There is the risk that the system in China could lead to corruption. It has that outcome in the past. But that problem has largely been eradicated.
We must not forget that the American political system has its own form of corruption. Look at how laws are being passed to favor the rich, at the expense of the working people.
All systems have their forms of corruption. Power corrupts.
I prefer the national ideology of a country to be socialist, rather than capitalist. A socialist system take better care of the people as a whole.
The American system emphasize freedom and human rights. We have now seen how the freedom could lead to riots and police brutality.
If I were to choose the system in America, Singapore or China, I will opt for China.
Many people are still brainwashed by American propaganda. They declare the communist system to be bad because it does not promote freedom, human rights and democracy. They should have an open mind and study what is happening in the countries with the various systems.
