SingTel makes it impossible for me to report a line fault
I have just experienced the terrible service standard of SingTel. My home fixed line, that I had for 24 years and hardly used, just got into trouble. The incoming call is very soft. I tried with 2 phone and it did not work. I suspect it is a line fault.
I had a difficult time to search for a number to call. I tried their number 1608 but was directed all over the place. Finally, they asked for my mobile number and sent me a SMS to connect to WhatsApp.
When I got into WhatsApp, I was given a virtual assistant Shirley. It is an entire waste of time. I have to answer irrelevant questions and it did not help.
Finally, Shirley said that she would get a human agent to deal with me. It was not connected after a few minutes.
I don't know why the people in SingTel can be so stupid in designing their process. Why can't they get a human being to listen to my message and then see what they can do?
I had also sent an email to explain my problem, I don't know if they will reply in 4 days or 14 days.
SingTel represents the service standard that is typical all over Singapore. We are doomed.
