Land Transport Authority Renaming the roads in Punggol Estate
The current names for the roads in Punggol HDB estate are confusing. I give my suggestion to rename these roads.

a) Roads running from west to east will have the name - Punggol Way 1, 2, 3, etc
b) Roads running from north to suoth will have the name - Punggol Drive 1, 2, 3 etc. 

Here are the new names:

a) Punggol Field will be renamed Punggol Way 1
b) Punggol Central will be renamed Punggol Way 2
c) Punggol Drive will be renamed Punggol Way 3
d) Punggol Way (the horizontal section) will be renamed as Punggol Way 4
e) The new expressway, under construction, will have its own name.
f) Summang Walk will be renamed as Punggol Drive 1
g) Punggol Way (the vertical section) will be renamed as Punggol Drive 2
h) Punggol Walk will be renamed as Punggol Drive 3
i) Punggol Place will be renamed as Punggol Drive 4
j) Punggol Road will keep its orginal name 
k) Edgefield Plains will be renamed as Punggol Drive 6
l) Edgedale Plains will be renamed as Punggol Drive 7
m) Punggol Field Walk will be renamed as Punggol Drive 8
n) Punggol East will be renamed as Punggol Drive 9
 
The long roads will be further identified by sections 1, 2, 3 etc.

Streets will be named after the road that it branched off, e.g. Punggol Way 2 Street 1, Street 2, etc.

It will be easy to remember the roads as Punggol Way 1 to 4, and Punggol Drive 1 to 9.
