Be positive and constructive
I encourage people to be positive and constructive. What we have may not be perfect, but it may be better than nothing.
Let me give an example.
I posted an article about how to measure the body mass index (BMI). A BMI exceeding 25 indicates that a person is overweight.
Someone posted a video that explains BMI does not indicate health. Sure it does not. Nobody suggest that BMI is "everything".
BMI is a helpful guide to indicate if a person is overweight. There could be more helpful indicators, but they are not readily available to ordinary people.
A person with a BMI within range may be unhealthy in some other aspect, but that is a separate matter.
Being constructive means looking for a practical indicator that a person can use. If none is available, the BMI should be good enough for its purpose.
Posting a video to show that BMI is not perfect is not constructive, not helpful.
If any person wish to look for a negative video, they can surely find it in the Internet. The negative video may not be true anyway.
It is all right to be critical to point out the negative aspect of any situation, but it should also provide an alternative that is better.
