A long and inconsiderate reply
Dear Minister,
I wrote to the ICA_Feedback@ica.gov.sg and received this long reply which does not address my concern. But it does take me some time to read through the long email. Please ask your civil servants to be helpful and considerate to the public.

If you are enquiring the outcome of an application and it is still within the processing time, we seek your understanding that we will not be replying to you. Please wait for the application outcome to be conveyed to you. Alternatively, you may check the status of the application here.

ICA strives to reply to you within three working days. As we may not be able to receive emails (inclusive of attachments) which exceed 5MB, please ensure that your email is within this limit. If your email exceeds 5MB, we would appreciate it if you can re-send the email with a smaller file size.

In phase 2 of reopening, counter services at the ICA Building will remain strictly for selected services and by appointment only. Please use the ICA e-services via MyICA for your transactions wherever possible. If you require urgent services, please make an appointment via www.e-appointment.ica.gov.sg or fill up the electronic form at go.gov.sg/ica-services.

If you have an appointment, please arrive at the ICA Building within 15 minutes of your appointment time. Before entering the building, you should get ready to check in using SafeEntry, and have the following document prepared
  • Your e-Appointment letter or screenshot of e-Appointment booking; or
  • Permission for Entry letter/email.
You should visit ICA Building on your own, unless specified. The elderly, young children, and those who require special assistance e.g. wheelchair-bound persons, can be accompanied by one other person.
You are advised to defer all non-urgent visits to the ICA Building.
