Ministry of Defense Review on NS training
Dear Minister sir
I did my NS training some 20 years ago and i am sure todate the system still did not change.

Our battalion went to Brunei for our ICT.  It was a cultural shock than as we discovered there were double standards ie active received far better treatment than us in terms of attire moving around, combat ration inside container rusty etc.  Am sure there are many more double standards.

Knowing that ICT debrief are for formality and show with no action taken i was perturbed.

Collecting all the facts, i as a responsible soldier send the facts to the Formation Commander.  During that time the army promote POM.  People Oriented Management.

Thankfully the Formation Commander brought up to MINDEf and action taken.

Personally what is lacking in SAF is avenue for feedback.  

Our new chiefs does not have ground experience unlike people like Winston Choo.

You need to get involved to make SAF great again as besides Aloysius death, am sure monthly there are many unreported cases of accidents.
