Day tour to Forest City - 13 Feb
Meet at 10 am at the CW berth at Jurong Town Hall Bus Interchange (JTHBI) on Thu 13 Feb. From Jurong East station, you can take a 10 min walk using the overhead walkway to JTHBI.
We will take CW3 to Tuas checkpoint for passport clearance, take any CW bus to JB 2nd link CIQ for passport clearance and catch the FC1 bus at 11 am to Forest City. The fare is SGD 5 from JTHBI to Forest City. Keep the ticket to show to the driver on the buses. You can also use Manja Link.
After arriving in Forest City, we will take the free internal shuttle to go round Forest City. After the ride, we will have lunch at the Transport Hub and optionally visit the bubble tea shop operated by a young girl called Lina. After lunch, we take a walk to Fisherman's Wharf, Marina Hotel, beach and return to the Sales Gallery. This is the end of the tour.
You can walk around Forest City on your own. To return to Singapore, you take bus FC1 at 3.30 pm, 4.30 pm or 5.30 pm back to Singapore . You take FC1 to the JB 2nd link CIQ, any CW bus to Tuas checkpoint and CW3 to JTHBI. The fare for the return journey is RM4.50 from Forest City to JTHBI. Show your ticket to the driver for the 3 bus segments.
